- La próxima edición de Construmat tendrá lugar del 20 al 22 de mayo de 2025 en el recinto de Gran Via de Fira de Barcelona.
Construmat 2025 ya tiene definida su 24ª edición, que tendrá lugar del 20 al 22 de mayo del año próximo, con el objetivo de aportar el máximo valor al profesional y a su experiencia en el salón a nivel de negocio, networking y conocimientos. En este sentido, ha anunciado ya los ejes del Sustainable Building Congress, así como nuevos espacios y actividades.
El salón, organizado por Fira de Barcelona, se prepara para volver a reunir a las grandes empresas del sector y a los profesionales de toda su cadena de valor para dinamizar su negocio y abordar los grandes retos del sector. Por ello, en su próxima edición pondrá el foco en la sostenibilidad y la innovación, y ampliará la internacionalidad en un evento que potenciará aún más las demostraciones en vivo durante los tres días de celebración.
El presidente de Construmat, Xavier Vilajoana, ha afirmado que “este año damos un paso más para impulsar el salón como referente del sector de la construcción. Por ello, el congreso, como parte fundamental de esta estrategia, crecerá en contenidos e internacionalidad con el foco puesto en la arquitectura y la construcción sostenible con ponentes y proyectos globales”.
Participación de 100 ponentes
En este sentido, el congreso de Construmat, llamado Sustainable Building Congress, será escenario y altavoz de las temáticas y proyectos constructivos sostenibles pioneros a nivel mundial y contará con la participación de 100 ponentes, entre ellos tres keynotes internacionales. Contará con más de 60 sesiones y mesas redondas y la dirección técnica a cargo de Jorge Arditti, presidente del capítulo mexicano del American Institute of Architects (AIA) y uno de los referentes internacionales en el ámbito de la construcción sostenible.
La organización ha abierto este mes de septiembre el plazo de la convocatoria para recibir propuestas de todo el mundo y, al mismo tiempo, ha iniciado el proceso de elección de los conferenciantes. También ha fijado las temáticas que abordarán: la construcción de edificios de equilibrio energético, la construcción saludable, la vivienda social, la inteligencia artificial en la arquitectura, la rehabilitación energética de edificios y la planificación urbana y adaptación climática con el objetivo de convertir al sector en una industria más sostenible.
Construmat Experience
Otra gran novedad será el Construmat Experience, un espacio en el que se presentarán ponencias innovadoras en un formato donde se fomentará la interacción entre el ponente y el público y que está especialmente diseñado para la participación de empresas, asociaciones y entidades sectoriales. El primer día de Construmat Experience contará con propuestas y actividades de especial interés para ingenieros; el segundo, para instaladores; y el tercero y último, orientado a arquitectos.
Asimismo, el salón mantendrá el área de startups y foro de inversión; los Premios Construmat, comisariados por la Fundación Mies van der Rohe que reconocerán las obras arquitectónicas más sostenibles; y el área de formación y certificación para profesionales del sector.
En su edición de 2024, Construmat tuvo un total de 314 expositores y más de 600 marcas representadas. Registró la visita de más de 21.000 profesionales según los datos oficiales del evento. Construmat 2025 has already defined its 24th edition, which will take place from 20 to 22 May next year, with the aim of providing maximum value to professionals and their experience at the show at the level of business, networking and knowledge. In this sense, it has already announced the axes of the Sustainable Building Congress, as well as new spaces and activities.
The show, organised by Fira de Barcelona, is preparing to once again bring together the largest companies in the sector and professionals from across its value chain to boost their business and address the major challenges facing the sector. For this reason, in its next edition it will focus on sustainability and innovation, and will expand its internationality in an event that will further enhance live demonstrations during the three days of the event.
The president of Construmat, Xavier Vilajoana, stated that “this year we are taking another step to promote the show as a benchmark for the construction sector. For this reason, the congress, as a fundamental part of this strategy, will grow in content and internationality with a focus on sustainable architecture and construction with global speakers and projects.”
Participation of 100 speakersIn this sense, the Construmat congress, called Sustainable Building Congress, will be the stage and speaker for the pioneering sustainable construction themes and projects worldwide and will feature the participation of 100 speakers, including three international keynotes. It will feature more than 60 sessions and round tables and technical direction by Jorge Arditti, president of the Mexican chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and one of the international leaders in the field of sustainable construction.
The organization has opened the call for proposals from around the world this September and, at the same time, has started the process of choosing the speakers. It has also set the topics that will be addressed: the construction of energy-balanced buildings, healthy construction, social housing, artificial intelligence in architecture, energy rehabilitation of buildings and urban planning and climate adaptation with the aim of turning the sector into a more sustainable industry.
Construmat ExperienceAnother great novelty will be the Construmat Experience, a space in which innovative presentations will be presented in a format that will encourage interaction between the speaker and the public and which is specially designed for the participation of companies, associations and sector entities. The first day of Construmat Experience will feature proposals and activities of special interest to engineers; the second, for installers; and the third and last, aimed at architects.
Likewise, the show will maintain the startups area and investment forum; the Construmat Awards, curated by the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, which will recognize the most sustainable architectural works; and the training and certification area for professionals in the sector.
