Livingceramics participated in the latest edition of Cersaie, which was held at BolognaFiere from 27 September to 1 October. With more than six hundred exhibitors and 62,000 visitors in attendance, the event exceeded expectations.
Although Cersaie is always special, this year’s event was even more so, as ADI granted us the Best Stand prize in its ADI Ceramics and Bathroom Booth Design Award.
The jury, formed by Cecilia Bione (Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna), Pierluigi Molteni (Architect and teacher at Advanced Design) and Wladimiro Bendandi (ADI Emilia-Romagna delegate and communications and brand identity expert), awarded Living stand out of 400 because: “the precision of the architectural spaces, attention to detail and consistency of the graphic design, in addition to the richly articulated messages, create[d] a meticulously planned and stylish installation. Thus, the demonstration machine achieve[d] the perfect synthesis between the brand’s different souls”.
The Livingceramics Stand was located this year in the new Hall 37, a modern pavilion dedicated exclusively to ceramics together with the most prestigious Italian brands. A sheet of water with two entrances on the sides delimited by leafy glass planters welcomed the stand. A catwalk over the water allowed visitors to access four videos containing the most relevant news from the group’s three brands: Livingceramics, Ceramic Lab and Lithotech.
During the tour of the Stand, Livingceramics presented the new series and surfaces in a contemporary language that reinforced the identity of the brand.
Bisel, the Signature Surfaces collection by designer Víctor Carrasco, showed the concept of “create your own”. As a starting point, a format, two surfaces and six colors that will help you think outside the box, give shape to ideas and create novel compositions.
As for the environments dedicated to the Livingceramics novelties, we found the Kendo flooring and wall tiles collection, the marine stone available in two new finishes (Bush Hammered AS and Honed) and in a 3D.FIT® Natural finish with a much more evolved digital relief realistic.
Kendo is also available in our Bathroom Furniture Series, alongside the Unit bathrooms with the new solid oak in Cross finish.
The wood-inspired ceramic series Uno was presented in Cocoa color, showing the new natural texture with 3D.FIT. A unique option to obtain the aesthetic warmth of wood and the technical usability of ceramic.
The Vonn ceramic collection for floor and wall tiles is the combination of marble stones, available in timeless tones and that in the Stand was combined in Light color and Natural finish together with Uno in Walnut color.
The environment dedicated to the Rem sawn wood-inspired collection presented the new series for floor and wall tiles in a Black finish. A collection that was combined with the new Era Soft Gray color with the Ductile large-format cladding.
The Blanc marble finishes were the protagonists of the last two Livingceramics environments, which were shown in a Natural finish and the new Matt Polished finish. Blanc Statuario Gold in large-format floor and wall tiles made up an environment inspired by a living room. For its part, Blanc Calacatta Gold showed in a bathroom environment the possibility of completing the space with an A.71 Frame washbasin.
The area dedicated to Lithotech sintered technical stone was dominated by a spectacular kitchen with a Blanc Borghini countertop with a Polished Matt finish. The wall contained a Lithoteteca that maintained the aesthetics of the showroom, with pieces from all the collections. An environment framed by glass planters that created an immersive journey in which timelessness and contemporary style embraced each of the areas.
A Stand loaded with intentions in which every detail conveyed the essence of Livingceramics and which won an award historically dominated by the Italian industry.
