Con el objetivo de optimizar la gestión de su almacén y mejorar las condiciones de trabajo de sus operarios, Peronda Group ha elegido el sistema de picking de cajas de Polytec, empresa italiana conocida internacionalmente por las soluciones de automatización y robótica que desarrolla para el sector industrial.
La solución de Polytec desarrollada para Peronda Group «automatiza por completo la tarea de preparar las cajas de azulejos que se enviarán al cliente». Un sistema de desplazamiento en el séptimo eje permite al robot moverse hasta los palés de picking y almacenamiento. Además del robot, el sistema también llevará un banco para el desembalaje de paquetes y el almacén de herramientas. Las bahías de descarga de palés estarán equipadas con un sistema de visión integrado en el robot, que permitirá escanear los palés y guiar al robot hasta el punto de recogida.
Una vez posicionado, el robot, integrado con un sistema de visión y una herramienta de agarre, recoge del palé el número de cajas destinadas al cliente y las deposita en el muelle de expedición, dejando el palé en el muelle para ser recogido por la carretilla elevadora o reutilizado posteriormente.
Además, en el caso de baldosas embaladas en paquetes, el mismo robot es capaz de quitar el fleje para descomponer el paquete, antes de elegir el número de cajas, tras lo que destinará el sobrante a usos posteriores.
Gracias a un software específico, mediante parámetros que pueden configurarse a priori en función de las propiedades intrínsecas de la cerámica, se compondrán varias hipótesis de composición del palé del cliente: la fórmula ideal será confirmada por el operario antes de proceder a la composición. Esta célula robotizada es un ejemplo concreto de enfoque 5.0 de la industria, ya que el robot aporta beneficios a los trabajadores implicados, aliviándoles de tareas pesadas y repetitivas, además de mejorar la eficacia productiva.

A seven-axis sliding system allows the robot to travel to pick and place pallets. In addition to the robot, the system also carries a desk to unpack the bundles and a tool warehouse. The pallet unloading bays will be serviced by a vision system mounted on the robot capable of scanning the pallets and guiding the robot to the pick-up.
Once positioned, the robot, integrated with a vision system and picking tool, picks from the pallet the number of boxes destined for the customer and deposits them in the shipping bay, leaving the pallet in the bay to be picked up by a forklift or reused later.
Furthermore, for bundles of tiles, the same robot is able to remove the strap to break down the bundle and then pick up the required number of boxes, allocating the remaining ones for later use.
Thanks to specific software, using parameters that can be set in advance according to the specific properties of the ceramics, various hypotheses for the composition of the customer’s pallet will be generated; the ideal formula will be confirmed by the operator before proceeding with the composition.
