29.08.2023 17:35

Hisbalit will once again be participating at Cersaie, the sector’s most important international event, which is celebrating a milestone anniversary this year. The 40th edition of the world’s most influential ceramics show will be held in Bologna from 25 to 29 September and will address the challenge of innovation alongside sustainability.

Among the surprises offered by the Cantabrian company at Cersaie 2023 will be its stand (Hall 22, Stand A2), which will be showcasing the versatility and elegance of the material, through a creative concept related to craftsmanship. A 32 square metre space will present its first collection of rectangular mosaic designs to be launched on the market in 2024. The company will also present the colours, formats and textures expected to set the trend in mosaic design over the coming year.

Throughout the five days of the exhibition, Hisbalit will present its innovative catalogue of ecological mosaic tiles to manufacturers, distributors, architects, interior designers and sector professionals from all over the world. Its recently launched Petite collection, featuring minimalist and customisable handcrafted patterns, will be in the spotlight, as well as its unique customisation service, allowing the creation of signature designs.

At last year’s edition, Hisbalit exhibited its 2023 proposals at a stand inspired by the earth. An oasis of peace and design, with warm tones and a made-to-measure mosaic carpet of more than 80 m2. Just like a work of art, it was handcrafted with Hisbalit’s Art Factory customisation service. More than 70,800 tiles, individually hand-laid to create a “ready-to-go” floor.

The prestigious event will be held at the Bologna Fiere exhibition centre, occupying 15 halls over a total surface area of 145,000 m2. During the five days of the exhibition, more than 630 leading companies from over 26 countries will showcase new trends in the sector linked to craftsmanship and sustainability. More than 150 Spanish companies will take part.

The exhibition programme will feature five different areas on its 40th anniversary. The first is in the Service Centre, with one in Gallery 21/22, two in Gallery 25/25 and the last in the Mall in Hall 37. Each area will showcase the key products and personalities of the period, accompanied by music.

The cultural programme “Building, Living, Thinking” and the “18 Press Cafés” featuring leading names in the world of contemporary architecture will also be held once again. One of the new features this year will be related to the laying of tiles. Six young setters, aged between 17 and 23, will take part in a challenge using tiles of various sizes.
